What… is… that? Another not-quite-wordless Wednesday post!

01•07•15

“Lady, I don’t want to alarm you, but I think something is under there.”

What's under there?

“Ohmigosh! Look! There IS something under there! But what could it be? Stay calm. I’ll figure it out.”

See! There's something there!

“Can I walk on it? Yep.”

Walking on the thing

“Can I poke at it? Sure can.”

Poking the thing

“What… is… it?”

What is it?

“I know! I’ll be brave. I’ll stick my head under there and get a good look.”

Looking

“Oh. Nevermind. It’s just Cooper.”

It's Cooper

Incidentally, throughout her whole exploration, Cooper never even twitched… even when she pounced on him.

Pounce!

Thanks, Rebekah! It’s actually just a twin comforter we got from Target and turned sideways… our quilt just wasn’t cutting it in these frigid temps!!

I’m sure the little Sherlock Newt was pretty proud of herself! Actually, she seemed a bit disappointed, like she was hoping it was something more exciting than one of her brothers (read: something she could hunt)!

Graham growls lightly whenever somebody steps on him when he’s undercovers. It’s pretty funny to hear a lump of comforter growl. The cats take no notice and step on him anyway.

Hahah! They’ve learned there’s no “bite” to his “bark”? (That’s how it is with poor Emmett… he can snarl at Newt, and she just says, “Psshhh!”)
