Cooper is a grass eater. Big time.
It’s not a world-is-ending type of problem, but it does cause him… toileting… issues. So, when the topic came up on the interview with Only Natural Pet’s CEO, Marty Grosjean, I was interested in the product he recommended to curb the habit.
To test out the natural pet products offered on Pet360, I got to order a few goodies – and I immediately chose the Super Daily Greens, which is what he said may curb that behavior. I really appreciate that it’s a powder I can stir into his food because, as I mentioned earlier in the week, he already gets some supplements and the powder just makes it so much easier. I was hoping I’d see a drastic change, but he’s only been on it 3 days, so I think I was asking too much. If it makes a big change – hopefully curbing his grass-eating altogether – I’ll keep you posted!
We also got to test some natural treats for dogs and cats: Freeze Dried Raw Turkey & Fish Nibblets for Newt, and Freeze Dried All Meat Bison Bites for the whole herd.
The nibblets are suggested to be an alternative to dry food for cats, but the bag is super small – 6 ounces – and the recommended feeding level for Newt’s size (just under 8 pounds) is a 1/2 cup per day. That wouldn’t make sense to use daily to me, but as treats, the little kibbles worked great. Newt LOVES them, and I’m very happy with the ingredients. Nothing funky at all, no grains, preservatives, fillers, hormones or antibiotics. It’s super digestible, so if you had a cat with tummy problems, this would be a good fit.
As for the bison treats… the ingredient list is music to my ears: Bison Meat. That’s it! Nothing junky or processed or fillers. Cooper can chomp away on these treats, and his stomach is a-ok! They also work for Newt, so I’ve been keeping the bag in my desk drawer to dole out for good behavior (aka, not going ballistic at the mailman) throughout the work day!
Oh, and Newt got one other prize from Only Natural Pet…
We did receive a few more natural pet products to test, but from the time the box came until today we just ran out of time. Among the ones I’m most excited about are the natural stain and odor solution (Okay, to be totally honest, I almost had an opportunity to test this, but by some miracle, Lucas threw up outside for pretty much the first time in his entire life! I was torn… could’ve had a chance to test the product but didn’t have to clean the carpets…) and the natural pine clumping kitty litter.
Overall, from what we’ve tried, I’ve been super happy with the natural pet products we got from Only Natural Pet and Pet360. None of this stuff is available where we live, so I am VERY grateful to have an outlet to order it online.
