Hope you’re enjoying Fat Tuesday! It’s a holiday here in Louisiana, so we’re taking it easy and enjoying the day. Giveaways are coming the rest of the week, so stay tuned!
(Confession: There was NO possible way to get Newt in this picture. None. No way. See all those beads? The ones piled on and hanging off the boys? She thought they were fun toys that needed to be swatted. Oops.)
Did you name Newt from the Alien movies? We had a German Shepherd for a tragically too-short time, and when my mom brought her home as a puppy she told my dad we could name her Ripley for his favorite movie as an appeasement π
That’s a great picture!
You’re exactly right! She’s named from the movie. John picked it because “she mostly comes out at night… mostly.”
Coop looks so serious with his forehead wrinkles, I love it!
Hah! Poor Cooper is nearly always serious! Though he is a good sport. π
Too cute. They are such good puppies !!!!!!
They have their moments! π
Louisiana isn’t all bad.
Nah, there are a couple good things, that’s for sure! Hope all’s well with you and your crew… we haven’t seen a Wordless Wednesday from you in a while so were thinking of you!
They are just too cute!
Thanks, Beth! π
LOVE this picture!
This one was a lot of fun! Well, mostly because they were so exhausted and couldn’t protest too much… π
I’m torn between thinking a video of Newt attacking all the shiny things all over the boys would A) hysterical or B) tragic.
C) All of the above.
Laissez les bon temps rouler!
We sure did! π
Holy smokes Maggie!! Did you ‘earn’ all those beads? You wild woman, you! π
Hahah! Around here, thank goodness, they just toss ’em for showing up at the parade!
OH man, such a tolerant troop! Can hardly blame Newt for wanting to play with them – I kind of want to play. π
Happy Mardi Gras!
I know! It was like kitty heaven! I’d be happy to send some your way!
