I’m so excited to share three more crazy fun dog products with you guys! Each one would make a great holiday gift for the pup in your life. Plus, thanks to the generosity of Petmate, you will have the chance to win one of the three products reviewed below.
We received these three toys last week and got down to work reviewing them. In other words, Emmett slept on the bed while the other two played with the toys. 🙂
Here’s the scoop on each of the products:
Chuckit! Kick Fetch
This toy is super fun. We don’t have anything like it, so it was a blast to give it a whirl. It’s a fairly large ball, slightly smaller than a soccer ball, with grooves where the dog can grab a hold. It’s definitely designed for interaction, kicking and tossing it with your dog instead of leaving it out. (Read: It’s NOT chew-proof. Less than 15 seconds unsupervised and Coop was through the nylon.) This is the perfect backyard toy for a fun game of soccer with your pup.
Petmate Fashion Bedding
These guys LOVE this bed. They argue over who gets to capitalize on the soft, squishy spot – and sometimes squeeze in together if one won’t give it up.
The washable cover is topped with a fuzzy/faux fur that the boys adore. It even seems cozy to me! The line includes a bunch of different fabric options, but the green, purple, brown combo of this bed fits in any room of our house. My favorite part about this bed, though? The insides have a super comfy high-loft, recycled polyester fiber fill. We strive to get recycled materials in our pet products, so I was really happy to see that in this cute bed!
JW Treat Tower
I love puzzle toys. They give the boys something to do, to keep them busy – and out of trouble. I tried this one with Lucas first. I set it to the easiest setting, and he nailed it. Same thing with Emmett. Then Cooper tried. And dear Cooper…
The Treat Tower is a smidge scary! from Maggie Marton on Vimeo.
After I took the video, he kept messing with it and eventually got over his fear of the toy. Once he realized that the wobbling = treats, he was all about it. So, I set the wobbler to a tougher setting, and it took all three longer to release all the treats, which is totally the goal! This toy would be perfect for feeding your dog dinner, too!
And the best part about all three of these products? YOU get a chance to win them thanks to Petmate!

A big, huge thanks to Petmate for offering this giveaway!
Cooper is so cute, I love his little ears sticking out sideways like wings on a glider. all great products. Cash is due for a new bed as he has smooshed his doggy couch flat. I used to have an old deflated soccer ball of my sons that our neighbours dog absolutely loved playing with but it’s gone missing, the kick/fetch it looks like it would be perfect for her Christmas present, she is a French bulldog so her smooshy face should be able to grab that toy. Cash has a treat dispensing ball that he rolls around the house for a few minutes every day, when it’s down to only a few pieces of kibble he picks it up and tosses it to get the kibble out, it’s cute super cute when he tosses the ball, not so cute when it’s hurled at you or towards the fireplace. the treat tower would probably stop that behavior. I wonder if I could put treats in there for our bunny? make her work for her treat for a change. melissa used to have pet rats, that might work for them too (if we ever get more)
I have a treat ball from one of the BarkBoxes that I would like to use for Julius, but it reads “genius level” so I haven’t opened it yet. lol.
“AAH! Scary thing, scary thi… Oh, wait it gives treats. I love you scary thing!”
I have enough dog beds in the house for Dash and Lilly to each have their own. But they usually climb on one together like your boys are doing in the picture. I am tempted to give away the others, but what if they change their mind one day and each want their own?
My husband grabbed up that Chuck It ball when we were in REI the other day. It’s the kind of thing Silas would love. I didn’t buy it because I told his grandma to buy him a soccer ball for Christmas, but it does look like a great toy.
Silas has a Kong Wobbler, and he thinks that barking at it is an essential part of the process.
I’ve been eyeing those Chuck-It balls at the local pet store and want one so bad! Charlie would absolutely flip out over this one because I think she was a hockey goalie in a former life – she lives to block and fetch balls! This one wouldn’t get lost in the snow in the backyard too!
I’m so glad we started Honey on food toys when she was a puppy. It’s one thing she’s never had any fear about.
It is no secret that I cannot throw anything well enough to interest my dog for very long. I was a horrible baseball player. Soccer, however, I played for many years and though my skills are rusty I am betting we could put this ball to good use!
That big Chuck-it looks like fun!
LOVE the video. Was BOL at it!
Sheba would be afraid of that too, she’s afraid of pretty much anything new or different. The beagles would definitely adjust quickly when they figured out treats were involved! More giveaways….you are awesome, Maggie! That chuck-it ball looks like it would be lots of fun out in the yard. I’d love to do more of that, I might have to ask your advice someday on how you go about getting all these.
Oh the Kick Fetch is a huge hit at our house! Mort absolutely loves his (and I’m sure he’d be over the moon with another, were he to win the draw!)
That video is classic! I need to remember to take more reaction videos like those – they are so fun to go back to 🙂 Love it!
