It’s customary to list the things for which you are grateful on this holiday. The reality for me is that I am filled with gratitude. Like, bursting from the seams. For my life, my hubs and family, the herd, for the lavender soap that makes my kitchen smell so good, the stack of craft supplies waiting to be turned into something fabulous, the marathon of Christmas movies starting on network television tonight, for hot chocolate and cranberries and knit blankets, for the ornaments we will delicately unpack and place around the house tomorrow, and for all the memories that comes with it.
This list could go on (and on and on…), but I wanted to say this, friends, I am thankful – eternally, wholeheartedly – for you. Thank you for being here, week after week, and sharing in the lives of each others’ beloved pets. For sharing your stories and comments and tips, and for connecting with each other in venues around the internet. I’m grateful for this community, and I’m honored to be a part of your dogs’ (and cats’!) lives.
We’ll be back on Monday. Have a wonderful, relaxing, peaceful holiday.
A few outtakes… from the, roughly, 300 pictures we took…
Happy Thanksgiving!
I could look at all 300 of the out takes!!! Smooches to your herd!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours Maggie!
Ha ha, the dogs are all behaving and Newt is the one acting up!! I hope you are having a nice Thanksgiving weekend, Maggie. I am also thankful for all the great friends out here in blogville! I’m also off to spend more time with family….two days of shopping with my sisters and best friend. It’s not so much about the shopping but more about the “girl time”!
Did you ever think 5 months ago that you’d be able to snap shots of all three dogs sitting behind Newt? 🙂
I’m thankful that you share your stories with us. Hope you have a great weekend.
