Last week on Facebook, I asked: If your dog were to have a theme song play whenever he/she walked into a room (like old sit-com characters), what would it be?
Holy moly. The answers were hilarious.
I thought of Cooper’s right away (Bad to the Bone), and I came up with Emmett’s after a little bit of thought (Singin’ in the Rain). But I was stumped on Lucas.
Later in the day, some lyrics popped into my head:
With the thoughts you’d be thinkin’
You could be another Lincoln
If you only had a brain
And then I thought AHAH! If Lucas is the Scarecrow, well then…
And it works, right? It’s seriously perfect!
Emmett with the heart of gold…
Cooper with a little c-c-c-courage…
And Lukey with the missing brain!
But, wait! If that’s the case, then it only stands to reason that…
Your turn: Song lyrics? Movies? TV characters? Any parallels you can draw to your pets?
Oh my goodness, that couldn’t be any more perfect!! Love!!
Hehe! Thanks, Debra! 🙂
Any dog that poses on a scale for the camera is deffo not dealing with any body image issues. See Lars here:

Therefore, Lars would come strutting down the isle to

Soooo funny!!! 🙂
Mmmm… good questions. Whatever song it would be Cody and Sierra would have to be able to sing to it.
Absolutely!! Maybe an operetta?
I had wanted to use the Stones “Jumping Jack Flash” in videos of Jack and Rod Stewart’s Maggie May for videos of our Maggie. Copyright always messes with the best plans though.
Those would be great videos, though! 🙂
We don’t have a song, but my 6 year old male labradoodle is such a rule follower that we say if he were in kindergarten he would be the kid who wears a bow tie and carries a briefcase. My 5 year female labradoodle, however is so naughty and silly that we say she is a middle school girl who chews pink bubble gum while she writes in her diary at night lying on her stomach on her bed!
That’s hilarious, Deirdre! I can picture it perfectly!
Oh this made me laugh out loud. I haven’t given any thought to theme songs for my dogs but I will be now. This is hilarious!!
