Earlier in the month I mentioned that I was changing my sponsorship policy and that sponsored content would support an adoptable pit bull. Well, I’m thrilled to introduce the first sponsored pup!
I chose to pick the first pup from Friends of Homeless Animals in Virginia because that’s where we adopted Emmett from. So without further adieu, here’s Hopper!
Look at that face! Please do go read Hopper’s full story, but here are some highlights: he was found as a stray but has since healed from his wounds – from the description it sounds like that healing was both figurative and literal. “Hopper is a friendly and affectionate boy who wants nothing more than to love and be loved.” The description says he’s strong on leash; Emmett was horrible on leash when we adopted him, but that’s a fun behavior to teach because it builds your bond with your new pup.
Part of the reason I picked Hopper is because he was diagnosed with lymphangiectasia, though that shouldn’t deter a potential adopter because it’s well managed with a special food and medication.
I’m so excited that we can sponsor darling Hopper – I mean, how cute is he?! – and I hope he finds his forever family very soon. In fact, if you end up adopting him, please let us know! That would be so exciting!
