Pretzels

01•03•12

No, this probably wasn’t the nicest thing to do, but…

Cooper was so tired while I was sitting on the couch eating pretzels. Emmett and Lucas each got a pretzel. Cooper didn’t wake up, so I put one right by his nose. Still didn’t wake up. So I put one under his lip, thinking he’d wake up and be like, YAY! A PRETZEL!

But nothing.

So John said something like, “How many do you think you can stick in there before he wakes up?”

The answer?

Five.

Ha! Cooper certainly must have been zonked. Hurley wouldn’t have stayed asleep if there were noms in the same room. He’s sorta insane that way. 🙂

Love it! But I must ask how you got him so tired?

Priceless! I can’t believe it took that long! I don’t think I would even have gotten to one with Tucker or Phoebe.

Laughter is the best medicine. And I got a good enough giggle to ensure I won’t need a flu shot this year.

I have the same question as Julie: how did you ever tire Cooper out so thoroughly?

I’ve occasionally woken Elka up by putting a morsel of food on her paw or near her nose. That’s pretty freaking funny!

I couldn’t believe it either. This never would’ve worked with the other two. There’s something about an exhausted puppy… Once they’re out, they’re OUT! We had spent a couple days at my parents’ house, which is doggy heaven. He was tired from running, jumping, and chasing for two straight days!

Afterwards we let him eat a couple of the pretzels, so I didn’t feel too bad! 🙂

Hey, with all we do for them, I think they can stand a little fun at their expense every now and then.

    Thanks for the giggles!

Funny! I think Sam would have eaten them in his sleep.

That is wicked funny…he must have been totally out. I think Ned would have waken up with the bag noise….fantastic shot!
