I attended the first two BlogPaws and loved every minute of them. For an introverted, hermit-y writer like myself, conferences aren’t easy for me. What is easy for me? Talking about my dogs! And the fact that I could spend a few days with like-minded people who wanted to talk about their dogs and hear about my dogs all while learning more about pet blogging… it made even reclusive old ME come out of my shell!
So this time around, I was really disappointed that I wouldn’t be able to go. John is going to be in China for three weeks over the conference, so he couldn’t watch the boys. My parents – second in line – were going to be in Chicago for their wedding anniversary, so they were out. Plus, they have a hard time keeping up with Cooper’s shenanigans, and Cooper’s been on a six-month-long waiting list for a doggy daycare.
Long story (with lots of coincidences) short, I’m now going to BlogPaws!
My parents’ trip got canceled, so they’re taking the big boys, and I’m going to drive out with Cooper. And, just in time, the fabulous Yvonne DiVita asked me to help support the event as a Paws on the Ground BlogPaws blogger! It all came together – THANK GOODNESS! I would have HATED to miss BlogPaws!
Even if you don’t have any questions, please reach out anyway. I’d love to plan to meet you in person, and it was so helpful for introverted me to have arranged introductions in advance for the first BlogPaws! It was a perfect conversation starter!
Also, I have a coupon code for 20% off registration to hand out, so contact me and I will happily pass that along.
I’m super excited! I can’t wait to reconnect with old friends and meet lots of new blogging buddies!
And stay tuned for another post that answers all the questions I had before I attended the first one, including details on the sessions, speakers, social events, costs, and more. If you have any specific questions, please post them here!
(Can you tell I’m excited?! What with all the exclamation!! points!!)
Okay! So who’s with me?? Please let me know if you’re coming to BlogPaws in the comments because I’ll track you down once we’re there! 🙂 I need conversation starters or else I just hang out by the shrimp cocktail grinning like an idiot.
