We got back from BlogPaws on Sunday, and it was a wonderful experience. From the networking to the sessions to the keynotes to the socializing – it was all so much fun!
But being away for four days creates such a backlog! I’m frantically trying to catch up with my freelance work, with teaching, with this blog, and all the other things that always seem to pile up (laundry, anyone?).
That being said, we’ve been getting the postcards out the door! Woohoo! They’re going in batches – we heard from several people who have worked in politicians’ offices that spreading them out over a week or two would be more effective than all at once – they’re less likely to be boxed up and filed away than if they received them all at once. So that’s the plan, and we’ve been letting stacks trickle out.
We have another big post office run to buy more postage, and I received nearly three dozen more in my inbox while we were at BlogPaws, so once I print those, we’re good to go!
I plan to get my life back in order this weekend, so I’ll have lots of status updates on the Campaign to End BSL, and then regular posting will resume. Thank you for your patience.
And THANK YOU, everyone, for supporting this campaign! I can’t even tell you how incredible it is to drop hundreds of postcards in the mail every single day that are filled with heartfelt, passionate, inspired messages in support of bully love!
I will keep watching to see how your postcard project turns out. Thanks for doing this!
Yippee! That’s very much exciting, Miss Maggie! You’ve worked so hard on this and I hope it at least makes Mr. Mayor think a little bit. Specially since he might become governor and all. Thank you, thank you!
Wiggles & Wags,
