Greetings from the #endBSL postcard command center!

Here’s where I’m working right now:

Here’s what you’re seeing in the pic:

  • On the right-hand side of the screen are finished and sorted postcards, grouped in stacks of 5
  • The laptop is where I’m formatting any that need some tweaks and then sending them to 1 of 3 printers (long story short, it’s way cheaper for me to print them than to send them to a printer since it’s printing nearly a thousand double-sided individual sheets… though very time consuming!)
  • Directly to the left of the laptop are postcards that are 100% ready to be mailed, and they’re packaged in bundles of 100 (I think you can see 4 complete stacks in this pic)
  • The left-side, with the desktop computer, is the mail center – some postcards needed to be addressed, stamped, or otherwise arranged for USPS

WHEW! Luckily, I’m a total organization junkie. Organizing and arranging all of these postcards has been a logistical challenge, but it’s been really fun, too. I’ve gotten to read so many wonderful, inspiring stories about all of you and your amazing dogs, dogs that have made a difference in your lives. The pictures are adorable. The messages are sweet, profound, shocking, and smart.

The deadline is September 12 – next Sunday – which coincides with the end of BlogPaws. The postcards will be mailed starting on September 13, which is so exciting! As I’ve been trying to keep the campaign going while printing postcards, responding to emails, and all the other little details, it was sort of easy to forget the goal – mailing them!!! – so I’m thrilled it’s finally here!

So! Last call! Send in your postcards!! Need a little incentive?? Head on over to Dancing Dog Blog for the chance to win an awesome prize for helping the campaign!

And enjoy your Labor Day, everyone!

  1. You are amazing!! Fantastic work and congratulations on your success. What you’re doing is wonderful and I’m sure will attract the attention of the legislators in Denver.

Wow! You sure have lots of papers there! We would totally make a mess with all those. And our Mom wouldn’t do much better. She’s not so organized :) But, we’re glad you are and that you’re doing all this so our pittie furiends can hang out in the Mile High City! Thanks!

Ha!! Luckily, I love organization, but this project is starting to get overwhelming, even for me! Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
