Way to GO, Emmett! My human's two previous dogs were visitors at our hospital and senior's homes. Unfortunately, I'm still getting over my fear of humans after spending my life as a breeder dog in a puppy mill. But my human is good therapy for me and we are learning from each other.

That's awesome! Good luck on your test! We prepared a lot for ours... the hardest part for Emmett was the neutral dog because he always wants to play. I ended up tricking him by "loading" my pocket the couple days leading up to the test. Every time he did a "watch me" I gave him a treat from my pocket. Then, before the neutral dog exercise, I stuck my hand in my pocket and had him do a watch me until we got past the dog. Worked like a charm!

Emmett is a bully mix, and it's definitely a big driver behind I wanted to get him certified. We're doing the CGC next! Good for you and Kayloo, too! It's so great to have bully-breed ambassadors!

Good for you guys for doing that! I am taking my dog (Kayloo) in for her Therapy Dog test this Saturday. She's young (1 year, almost 4 months), but I figure now is as good a time as any to give it a go!

Is your dog a pitbull or pitbull cross? Kayloo is a rescue and we think part pitbull- it is part of the reason I want to get Kayloo certified- so people can see how lovely pitties really are!
